Early Years Education

Our team comprises skilled and compassionate educators specializing in Early Years, strategically designing educational activities that capture the innate spontaneity and curiosity of young children. Within the Early Years curriculum, we employ engaging and child-friendly topics to facilitate learning.

We acknowledge that the profound comprehension of young children is fostered through play, conversation, observation, questioning, experimentation, reflection, and responsiveness to adults. At York Nursery & Primary E-School, we understand that a child's happiness and sense of security are pivotal factors in their academic achievements and growing confidence.

Thoughtfully structured play and child-directed investigations serve as the primary avenues through which children learn, concurrently deriving enjoyment, and experiencing a sense of challenge. Throughout the foundation stage, our educators vigilantly monitor each child's progress, ensuring tasks align with individual abilities and needs. This monitoring not only informs teachers and parents but also guides the next steps towards attaining the Early Learning Goals.

We firmly believe that the Foundation Stage lays the groundwork for the optimal commencement of a child's educational journey.
