About York Primary eSchool Bugiri
Founded in 2001, York Nursery & Primary eSchool has experienced steady growth and currently serves approximately 600+ students in Bugiri District. Our state-of-the-art facilities leverage digital education tools like Pads, Laptops, Computers, and Smartphones for teaching.
Our students actively participate in extracurricular activities, including outdoor education and trips. We nurture practical skills in farming, poultry keeping, egg picking, and bakery of various edibles. At York eSchool, we believe in holistic education that encourages participation in community-building activities.
Theory of Knowledge (TOK)
At York, the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) course holds a distinctive role, offering students an opportunity to contemplate the nature, scope, and limitations of knowledge, as well as the process of knowing.
Unlike other courses that focus on acquiring new knowledge, TOK is designed to guide students in reflecting on and contextualizing what they already know.
